Analog Test & Characterization Engineer

About the role

Join our high-speed high-performance analog/mixed signal design team at Nokia. You'll contribute to validating and characterizing top-notch IPs, creating lab test scripts, and supporting the development of test validation documentation.

Responsibilities

• Create verification test benches and lab test scripts to ensure results meet expectations.
• Configure DUT/EVB, measure using lab instruments, and document results.
• Create automated lab flows for 24/7 testing and characterization of IP test chips and ASIC products.
• Create and maintain test validation documentation, including specifications, test procedures, and results.
• Review PCB designs to facilitate package and EVB design/manufacturing.
• Debug and characterize mixed signal IP test chips and ASICs, and write scripts for measurement facilitation.
• Support testing activities at other INFN ASIC locations.
• Interact with system teams to validate ASIC performance within systems.

Qualifications

• Good understanding of lab test equipment and common clocking devices.
• Familiarity with PCB design and its impact on high performance mixed signal ASIC/test chip performance.
• Ability to review PCB layouts and provide workarounds for debugging hardware or ASICs.
• Strong programming skills in Perl, LabView, Python, and/or Matlab.
• Knowledge in analog/mixed signal circuit design.
• Understanding of PC board level design and debugging.
• Fluent in verbal and written communications.
• Good analytical skills.
• Team player with a decent understanding in reliability testing and willingness to work with third-party testing houses.
• M.S. with 2-3 years of experience or fresh Ph.D. in EE, Physics or related fields.
