Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Design Co-Op/Intern (Summer 2026) / Stage/Co-Op en Conception de CI Analogiques/Signal Mixte (Été 2026)
About the role
The co-op student will be given the responsibility of utilizing and learning analog/mixed-signal IC design and simulation techniques to investigate selected topics of interest. The exercise will involve working with one or more blocks touching upon one or more of the following subsystems: Analog front-end and RX EQ circuits, Phase interpolators, Clock synthesis, clock distribution and clock muxing, Decision-feedback equalizers, Transmit path, Biasing.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate an understanding of the problems to be investigated.
- Document and present the circuit experiments and simulation results in internal design review meetings.
Requirements
- Citizen of Canada or permanent resident.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, analog aptitude, good communication skills, and ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with scripting languages is a plus.
- Currently enrolled in MS or BS program with major in EE or equivalent.
