Opportunity Overview
Handshake is seeking skilled Ngspice users to support AI research through flexible, hourly contract work. This is not a traditional job. You'll leverage your hands-on experience with analog circuit simulation, SPICE modeling, or mixed-signal analysis to evaluate AI-generated content and provide feedback that enhances AI's understanding of circuit design tasks and electronics workflows. This is an ongoing, project-based opportunity.
This Is For
- Experienced Ngspice users who have worked in or around roles like Analog IC Designer, Power Electronics Engineer, RF Engineer, Audio Electronics Designer, PCB Designer, or Circuit Design Engineer
- Those with solid experience in analog circuit simulation or SPICE modeling using Ngspice or Qucs-S
- Familiarity with mixed-signal analysis, digital circuit design, or signal integrity workflows
- Experience annotating or labeling circuit schematics and simulation outputs
- Experience reviewing simulation results for accuracy, performance, or design consistency
What You'll Do
- Create tool-related questions using Ngspice
- Review AI-generated responses for accuracy and relevance to real-world analog circuit design and simulation workflows
Qualifications
- No prior AI or technical experience is required
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Ngspice, either through professional work or freelance projects
- A working knowledge of analog circuit simulation concepts, SPICE models, and electronics workflows
- Familiarity with tools or languages such as Python, C, or MATLAB is a plus
