About the Role
The Contract Logistic Support (CLS) Program is seeking an AN/TPY-2 Flyaway Hardware Maintainer to support hardware maintenance of the AN/TPY-2 radar system. This role involves assisting site teams and maintenance planners with hands-on hardware maintenance at various tactical locations worldwide. The position requires an unaccompanied deployable status and the ability to travel nationally and internationally, sometimes with little notice.
Responsibilities
- Perform hardware maintenance support of the AN/TPY-2 system in all states and modes of preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Assist in planning and supporting maintenance, including independent assessments, audits, and special inspections of site activities associated with all radar operations.
- Maintain a mission-ready focus and fully deployable status at all times.
- Travel with minimal notification for deployed assignments within the U.S. (Ft Bliss, TX; Ft Hood, TX; White Sands Missile Range, NM) and internationally (OCONUS).
- Identify required job orders, document actions in ALCS, and perform corrective maintenance to completion.
- Maintain all equipment in accordance with Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs) and Technical Orders.
Qualifications
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
- Completion of the AN/TPY-2 Core Conduct course and on-the-job training, or U.S. Army THAAD experience, or successful completion of the Raytheon Skill Bridge Program.
- At least two years of experience in troubleshooting and operational checkout of TPY-2 systems or similar systems.
- Experience with tools and test equipment commonly used in electronic installation, maintenance, and testing.

- Strong technical aptitude and ability to handle high-stress situations.
- Excellent technical writing and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Logistics experience and knowledge of ALCS.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $68,900 – $131,100 USD, depending on experience, location, and other factors.
