About the role
We’re looking for a Manager to lead the team at our new family entertainment facility opening soon at Colorado Mills, Lakewood. If you enjoy video games, bowling, karaoke, and working in a fun environment, then you’re the kind of person we’d love to hire!
Responsibilities
- Provide superior customer service and satisfaction by being constantly visible and readily accessible to our customers.
- Explains game operation or rules to customers, and responds to customer complaints of machine malfunction.
- Aid customers and perform minor repairs on various machines without the assistance of a mechanic on duty.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the amusement department, ensuring compliance with established operating practices and policies.
- Plan and prepare work schedules and assignments of employees to specific duties.
- Complete reviews, absence reports, and supervise staff with time and attendance.
- Select, coach, and develop effective staff for the Amusement Department.
- Achieve targeted sales goals by ensuring the store and redemption area present an enticing image through regular display changes.
- Understand and track departmental sales on an ongoing basis.
- Conduct alcohol and age restriction control in accordance with company policies.
- Enforce compliance with all local, state, federal regulations and company policy for safety and loss prevention.
- Maintain store inventory levels on a daily basis to ensure adequate availability of products.
- Handle receiving, shipping, invoicing, cash handling, and manage cash.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Open availability, especially nights and weekends, is required.
- Must be at least 21 years old to handle and serve alcohol.
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of retail management experience, preferably in the arcade / entertainment industries.
- Regularly required to bend, stretch, twist, climb, and have a high level of mobility/flexibility in small spaces.
- Stand and walk for extended periods without breaks during busy times.
- Lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance.
