Defect & Hallucination Detection: Detect unsupported conclusions, hallucinated facts, data omissions, incorrect risk weightings, and flawed escalation/de-escalation logic. Manual Investigative Deep-Dives: Perform advanced manual tasks beyond AI capabilities, including OSINT (Open-Source Intelligence), IDV (Identity Verification) reviews, prior SAR analysis, and blockchain analytics. Regulatory Compliance & Reporting: Draft, review, and file clear, audit-ready Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs / STRs); initiate RFIs and Section 314(b) information-sharing requests when needed. Engineering Feedback Loop: Complete HITL quality scorecards and provide structured, root-cause defect logging directly to Machine Learning (ML) Engineering, Product, and Compliance Technology teams. Testing & Tuning: Support Golden Set evaluations, annotation, calibration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new model rollouts. Deep working knowledge of BSA/AML regulations, KYC/EDD protocols, typologies, and SAR narrative drafting conventions. Proven ability to analyze complex transaction patterns, synthesize fragmented data, and spot flawed investigative rationales. Strong written communication skills to author defensible, audit-ready narratives. Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card holder). Must be able to work onsite 5 days/week in Tampa, Florida. Preferred Qualifications Experience with cryptocurrency transaction monitoring, crypto exchange operations, or digital wallet forensics. Hands-on familiarity with blockchain analytics tools such as Chainalysis, TRM Labs, or Elliptic.
