AML / Financial Crime Analyst (Bilingual – English & Spanish)

About the role

Maintains compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) and financial crime regulations. Monitors transactions and identifies suspicious activity. Conducts investigations and prepares reports. Supports the company’s reputation by addressing issues promptly.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and analyzes financial transactions to identify potential risks.
• Reviews alerts and performs due diligence on suspicious activities.
• Escalates unusual activity to appropriate departments for further investigation.
• Documents findings and recommendations in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to implement remediation strategies.

Requirements

• Bilingual in Spanish/English (written & verbal).
• 2-3 years of experience with transaction monitoring, AML, and financial crime regulatory knowledge.
• Experience with alert review, investigation, and documentation.
• Ability to escalate unusual activity and report findings effectively.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills.

• Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., AML systems).
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards.
