Ames Plant Director

For our client, we are seeking a Ames Plant Director to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This role will lead plant operations in a complex manufacturing environment, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. The leader in this position will partner closely with cross-functional teams to strengthen supply chain performance, operational execution, and financial discipline. This is an opportunity to shape a high-performing site culture while driving strategic plans that support long-term business outcomes. Location: Livonia, MI - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $250,253 – $305,864 annually Responsibilities Lead a dedicated team in producing products that add value to customers and end users Ensure operational excellence through effective management across multiple operational domains Oversee plant safety and security practices in compliance with applicable regulations Accelerate customer value through efficient supply chain performance Develop strategic plans and budgets to support continuous improvement Champion programs that promote an inclusive workplace Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution Ten years of combined experience in quality, product engineering, process engineering, project engineering, or manufacturing Five years of experience in a management role in a manufacturing setting Plant Manager or equivalent experience in a complex organization Demonstrated strong leadership ability in high-performance teams Certification in Lean Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing methodologies Experience in operational excellence and financial accounting Benefits Relocation assistance authorized Multiple well-being programs for physical and financial health Regular benchmarking of pay and benefits against comparable companies Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
