Americas Tax Technology Group - Business Analyst - Manager
About the role
The Business Analyst role sits in the Solutions Delivery Pillar of the Americas Tax Technology Group (ATTG). You will partner with Business Technology Leaders, Solution Delivery Leaders, Product Leaders, and Architects to define and deliver long-term business and technology strategies for one or more portfolios. This role involves applying domain knowledge and enterprise analysis to drive reuse, continuity, and measurable business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage the BA approach to ensure timely, high-quality requirements delivery across the Portfolio throughout all phases of the ATTG project life cycle, reducing rework and enabling efficient solution delivery.
- Lead and mentor a team of BAs assigned to program/portfolio project(s), ensuring comprehensive business analysis is performed on all projects across the assigned Portfolio/Programs.
- Perform hands-on BA work directly as needed.
- Actively review and govern requirements traceability to ensure end-to-end impact analysis, coverage validation, and alignment to approved scope and business outcomes across the Portfolio.
- Partner with QA Engineers to review test strategies and plans, ensuring requirements coverage, risk mitigation, and overall solution quality.
- Partner closely with Product and Solution teams to shape product roadmaps, epics, and features, ensuring alignment between business priorities, needs, and technical delivery.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree (computer science, engineering, accounting, finance preferred) or equivalent work experience.
- Master's degree preferred.
- 8-12 years of relevant experience.
- Management experience a plus.
- CBAP or CBATL certification preferred.

- TAX or Finance domain knowledge.
- Experience leading other BAs to provide analysis and requirements, ensure consistency, accuracy and quality of BA deliverables on larger initiatives.
- Expert on industry-standard, structured business analysis techniques (i.e., user stories, use cases, UML/logical modeling, BABOK, etc.) appropriately modifying according to the decided software development methodology (i.e., Agile, Iterative, SCRUM, RUP, Waterfall, etc.) in use.
- Experience with Agile desired.
- Experience using, training and driving others to use requirements management, modeling and change control software(s).
- Supervise and direct team members and staff.
- Delegate, coach, coordinate and lead co-workers and project team members.
- Responsible for assigning work and reviewing performance, requiring leadership of virtual teams.
- Experience operating in complex environments with multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and evolving requirements.
- Support initiatives involving data ingestion, transformation, analytics, and reporting platforms by translating complex tax and business requirements into scalable, governed solutions.
Pay
The base salary range for this role in all geographic locations in the US is $86,600 to $197,800. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $103,900 to $224,700. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
