Americas Consulting Communications & Engagement Associate Director - Digital Campaigns & Platforms
About the role
The Americas Consulting Communications & Engagement Associate Director leads digital campaigns and channel experiences that keep the Consulting business informed, engaged, and equipped to act on what's ahead. Reporting to the Consulting Communications Leader, they own digital campaign development, channel experience, and engagement performance across Americas Consulting.
Responsibilities
- Lead execution and refinement of the internal digital communications strategy for Americas Consulting, aligned to broader Consulting Communications priorities.
- Oversee core internal channels including intranet, newsletters, webcasts, podcasts, video, and emerging platforms.
- Drive continuous modernization of channel experience, usability, and visual storytelling standards.
- Establish and maintain channel governance and editorial discipline across digital touchpoints.
- Design and lead end-to-end, multi-channel digital campaigns aligned to established Consulting business priorities.
- Translate business objectives into immersive storytelling experiences that drive awareness, clarity, and measurable engagement.
- Partner with initiative leads to ensure campaigns support transformation milestones and growth initiatives.
- Ensure consistent messaging reinforcement across digital channels.
- Provide creative direction across digital content formats, ensuring high-quality, on-brand execution.
- Partner with designers, agencies, and content producers to deliver visually compelling assets.
- Elevate storytelling approaches to enhance engagement while maintaining alignment with Consulting Communications strategy.
- Oversee editorial planning and channel cadence to ensure coordinated delivery.
- Define and monitor digital engagement metrics, including reach, participation, content performance, and sentiment indicators.
- Analyze performance data to inform continuous improvement and campaign optimization.
- Provide performance insights and recommendations to the Consulting Communications Leader and relevant stakeholders.
- Integrate employee listening insights into digital strategy refinements.
- Partner closely with the Consulting Communications Leader to ensure digital initiatives align to broader narrative direction.
- Collaborate with Consulting leaders, operations, HR, and the broader BMC network to support coordinated execution.
- Collaborate with Consulting communicators and BMC stakeholders to ensure consistency and alignment.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to capability building within the team.
Requirements
Strong understanding of Consulting business priorities and growth drivers
Proven experience leading enterprise digital engagement campaigns
Strategic mindset paired with strong creative execution capability
Expertise in multi-channel editorial management
Data-driven approach to engagement optimization
Ability to influence senior stakeholders in a matrixed environment
Comfort operating in fast-paced, high-change environments
High professional maturity and discretion
Ideally, 10-12 years of experience in internal communications, digital engagement, or employee experience
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
Experience leading digital content strategy in large, complex organizations
Demonstrated success delivering measurable engagement outcomes
Strong project management and stakeholder leadership capabilities
Experience managing agency and creative partnerships

Pay
The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $130,500 to $251,200.
The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento) is $156,600 to $285,400.
Schedule
Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project, or year.
