About the role
Accountable School Staffing is hiring multiple American Sign Language Interpreters (ASL's) for a 2026-2027 school year assignment in California. Positions are available in elementary, middle, and high school DHH hubs. The interpreters will work school hours with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
Responsibilities
- Interpret between English and American Sign Language in educational settings
- Work in Mild/Moderate DHH classes
- Follow school schedules and work school hours
Requirements
- California state professional license required
- EIPA score of 3.0 or better
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of Deaf-Blind and Deaf-Hearing Interpreting
- Experience in educational settings preferred
Skills
- Proficiency in American Sign Language
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay
$25.00 - $45.00 hourly, inclusive of taxable hourly rate and nontaxable stipends converted to an hourly rate based on a 35-40 hour work week.
