American Sign Language Interpreter - Austin, TX

Overview

Languages Services Associates is seeking American Sign Language interpreters in the Austin, TX area. As part of LSA’s network of independently contracted interpreters, you will facilitate language communication for the Limited English Proficient (LEP) community across various settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, maintaining strict confidentiality
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry-specific best practices
• Report to assignments promptly

Qualifications/Experience

• Associate or bachelor's degree
• RID certification
• BEI certification
• State interpreting licensure (if applicable)
• Fluency in English and American Sign Language
