The American Indian Education Aid Specialist plays a crucial role in managing application and review processes for various programs designed to support American Indian students in K-12 and postsecondary environments. Key responsibilities include managing American Indian Education Program Plans, Title VI programming, Impact Aid applications, and Ethel Curry Scholarship applications. Additionally, the position involves providing support to the Program and Compliance Monitor, analyzing data, and recommending additional programming needs.
Responsibilities
- Manage and review American Indian Education Program Plans
- Manage applications for the Title VI programming
- Manage applications for the Impact Aid program
- Manage the Ethel Curry Scholarship application and awards
- Provide support to the Program and Compliance Monitor in analyzing data and providing recommendations
- Focus on outreach to school districts, answering questions, and ensuring programming complies with regulations
Requirements
This position requires one (1) year of professional experience managing grant processes, American Indian Education programming/instruction, or general education programming, or three (3) years of professional experience providing administrative support duties for grant processes, American Indian Education programming/instruction, or general education programming. A bachelor's or master's degree may substitute for 1 year of professional experience.

Pay
The starting salary range for this position is $25.67 - $37.26 per hour, with an annual salary range of $53,598 - $77,798.
