American Girl Orlando Merchandising Associate- Part Time Holiday Seasonal

Our experiential retail stores provide shopping destinations like no other, featuring Girl and Doll Salons, full‑service restaurants, personal shopping, ear piercing (girl and doll), parties/celebrations, and more. This role is dynamic and fast‑paced, requiring you to make decisions that impact the team and our customers. As a Part‑Time Merchandising Associate (Back of House support) you will process incoming stock shipments, maintain stockroom standards, pack and load trailers with returning merchandise, maintain stock on the sales floor, monitor stock levels, assist with floor moves and equipment maintenance, work with store personnel to ensure a safe environment, and perform special projects as requested.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming stock shipments in a safe and orderly fashion.
• Maintain stockroom standards for merchandise placement, cleanliness and safety.
• Pack up and load trailer with returning merchandise (returns, rework and doll hospital).
• Maintain stock on the retail sales floor, including special requests from retail partners.
• Monitor stock levels on an ongoing basis and fill in as necessary adhering to visual standards.
• Assist in the general execution of the retail business, including floor moves, equipment maintenance, and working with other store personnel to provide a safe environment for both customers and employees.
• Perform special projects as requested.
• Demonstrate flexibility in prioritizing tasks to meet the needs of the business.

Requirements

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in retail or service industry, either in material handling, shipping, receiving, retail or warehouse stock handling (preferred).

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Friendly, approachable, and willing to offer assistance to guests in a respectful manner, especially children.

Pay

The pay range for this position is between $15 and $17.25 per hour. The pay range is indicative of projected hiring range, however base pay will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills and experience.

Schedule

Must be willing to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, nights, and weekends. Must be available to work open and close shifts, weekends, and holidays.
