Ambulatory Urology @ Sawgrass – LPN Proficient 2

About the role

PT (28), Days. Exciting LPN position available with fast paced Urology practice at the new state of the art clinical location.

Responsibilities

• In an outpatient setting, remains accountable for provision of direct care to assigned patients
• Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system
• Works as a team member and assists other staff members with implementing patient care
• Assumes responsibility of care for assigned patients under the direction of the co-assigned RN or MD
• Participates in the plan of care, implements appropriate nursing interventions, and contributes to patient/family education through collection of data, interdisciplinary team collaboration, documentation and excellent communication
• Rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, recording with the electronic medical record
• Specimen obtaining and preparation, patient prep for procedures, assistance during procedures
• High level disinfection of equipment
• Physician documentation support across multiple urology disciplines (general urology, oncologic urology, kidney and bladder stones, infertility, and procedures)

Requirements

• Must be able to work in a very fast paced environment and have excellent communication skills
• Needs to work well in a team approach to provide quality care for complex urologic patients
• One year acute care experience or urology experience a plus, but not required

Pay

$26.75 - $36.11
