Ambulatory Tech II

About the role

The Ambulatory Tech/Medical Assistant will assist providers during patient visits under nursing supervision. Tasks include performing a variety of clinical tasks in support of patient care in the outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Absorb and follow verbal and written instructions from providers.
• Assist with patient intake and discharge processes.
• Perform routine clinical procedures such as blood draws, ECGs, and vaccinations.
• Manage patient records using electronic health record systems.
• Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and providers to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during medical procedures and consultations.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of health care experience providing direct patient care and interaction with patients.
• Current American Heart Association BLS CPR Certification.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and courteously with others.
• Attentiveness to the needs of a diverse patient population.

Skills

• Proficiency in various hospital information systems (e.g., eRecord, Microsoft Outlook, Word).

Pay

Salary Range: $19.06 - $25.72 per hour.

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm.
