The role of OR/PACU RN at Shady Grove Fertility in Denver, CO involves providing care in operating and procedure rooms, administering anesthesia, and supporting patients and their families.

Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced assessment skills to identify patient care problems and develop care plans
• Perform initial preoperative assessments, develop a plan of care, and explain subsequent phases of surgery
• Provide comfort measures and psychological support to patients and family members
• Demonstrate proficiency in caring for patients under various types of anesthesia or conscious sedation
• Administer medications by direct intravenous and other routes as directed
• Provide patient education

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• 2 to 3 years clinical experience in Operating/Procedure Room or PACU
• Strong technical and clinical assessment skills
• Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment
• Able to communicate accurately and concisely

Qualifications and Skills

Pay

$40 to $42 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM Mountain Time, with weekend and holiday rotation
