Ambulatory Neurology Advanced Practice Provider

At Novant Health Medical Group, we are seeking a compassionate and patient-centered Neuro Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join our growing outpatient neurology team in Kernersville, NC. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced neurology providers in a collaborative, supportive environment focused on exceptional patient care and professional growth. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced APPs and motivated new graduates with a neurology background or strong interest in neuroscience care.
About the Role
Location: Kernersville
Practice Setting: 100% outpatient neurology
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM 36 clinical hours per week
Call Rotation: Clinic-based neurology call approximately once every 3 months
Weekend/Holiday Coverage: Only as needed for call rotation
Team Structure: Join a collaborative team of 2 physicians and 2 APPs with extensive neurology experience
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
Licensed or eligible for licensure in North Carolina
Open to both experienced providers and new graduates with neurology exposure or related clinical background
No RNFA required - this is a non-surgical outpatient position

Current DEA registration required - Additional Skills & Qualifications: Ability to successfully complete organization-wide and department-specific competency validation and skills assessments
Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, APPs, leadership, and interdisciplinary care teams
Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced clinical environment
Additional specialty-specific training and onboarding support provided onsite as needed
Qualifications
Education: Master’s degree required. Graduate of an NCCPA-accredited Physician Assistant program required.
Experience: Open to both experienced providers and motivated new graduates with neurology exposure or related clinical background.
