Ambulatory LPN - Behavioral Health - FT - Day

Responsibilities

• Aid in check-in, examinations, and procedures.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments, clarifying orders and refills as needed.
• Triage patient telephone calls, assessing their physical and psychosocial health.
• Coordinate patient services such as lab tests, point-of-care testing, x-rays, diagnostic procedures, consults, home care, and acute care admissions.
• Provide patient education about medications, lab tests, x-rays, and procedures, and notify patients of test results and provider dispositions.
• Document medical information using appropriate electronic applications and forms.
• Comply with all policies, standards, mandatory training, and requirements of Stormont Vail Health.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience in a clinic setting.
• Prior experience providing patient care preferred.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Kansas Board of Nursing (KSBN).
• A multistate license with the ability to practice within the State of Kansas is also accepted.
