About the role

Responsibilities
- Aid in check-in, examinations, and procedures.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments, clarifying orders and refills as needed.
- Triage patient telephone calls, assessing their physical and psychosocial health.
- Coordinate patient services such as lab tests, point-of-care testing, x-rays, diagnostic procedures, consults, home care, and acute care admissions.
- Provide patient education about medications, lab tests, x-rays, and procedures, and notify patients of test results and provider dispositions.
- Document medical information using appropriate electronic applications and forms.
- Comply with all policies, standards, mandatory training, and requirements of Stormont Vail Health.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Experience in a clinic setting.
- Prior experience providing patient care preferred.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Kansas Board of Nursing (KSBN).
- A multistate license with the ability to practice within the State of Kansas is also accepted.
