What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
- Develop, implement, and oversee individualized infusion treatment plans, adjusting care as patient needs evolve
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, prescribe medications, interpret labs, and manage infusion therapies within scope of practice
- Provide direct patient care, including infusion oversight and clinical decision-making
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapies, safety, and expectations throughout treatment
- Accurately and timely document in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Maintain accurate and timely medication and supply inventory to support safe and efficient clinical operations
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including HIPAA and payer credentialing
- Collaborate closely with referring providers, nurses, pharmacists, and administrative partners
- Lead quality assurance activities, accreditation readiness, and process improvement initiatives
- Mentor, supervise, and provide clinical leadership to RNs, LPNs, and clinical support staff
- Support workflow optimization, staffing coordination, and multi-site clinical alignment as needed
- Respond appropriately to patient concerns or medical emergencies within scope of practice
What We’re Looking For
You may be a great fit if you bring:
- A Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- An active, unrestricted NP license in the state of practice
- DEA registration, state-controlled substance license, and NPI number
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Strong IV access skills and experience with biologic and specialty medication protocols
- Experience coordinating patient care, managing inventory, and maintaining regulatory compliance in an outpatient infusion setting
- Proficiency with EMR documentation and clinical workflow optimization
Preferred Qualifications
- Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification
- Three (3) or more years of experience managing patients on specialty infusion therapies
- Five (5) or more years of infusion therapy experience in an AIS/AIC setting
Pay Range/Rate
$60 - $75 USD
