Ambulatory GI Procedure @ Sawgrass - Endoscopy Center - Registered Nurse 2, Outpatient

Responsibilities

• Provides competent direct patient care based on established standards.
• Contributes to unit activities and supports enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level.
• Supports peers in the delivery of patient care services.
• Affords expanded roles such as charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.

Requirements

• FT position available (36 hrs.), daytime 8 or 10 hour shifts, Monday- Friday.
• GI nurse opportunity in a fast-paced, growing outpatient endoscopy center.
• Care for procedure patients throughout all phases of care including pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and recovery.
• Enjoy being a part of a team of nurses, support staff, and highly skilled physicians affiliated with an academic medical center.
• Excellent IV and assessment skills.
• Moderate sedation competency.
• The ability to organize and prioritize care.
• 3 years nursing experience and NYS license.
• GI experience preferred, but not required.
