Ambulatory Clinical Tech Cancer Clinic PRN

About the role

This position requires at a minimum two 8 hour shifts every 6 weeks. There is potential to work up to part time hours when needed, and available. Please note that you would need to be able to train at a minimum of part time hours for the initial 4-8 weeks.

About The Practice

Multidisciplinary clinic who sees patients from various rotating clinics throughout Cancer Health. Patients are seen in the Lemmen-Holton Cancer Pavilion, which can be a satellite clinic. This clinic sees rotating providers who bring staff with them dependent on who is assigned in clinic for the day. We are a team made up of PSRs, ACCT's/ACT's, and MST Coordinators.

Scope of work

• Acts as a team member in the delivery of quality patient care under the supervision of a Provider or Registered Nurse (RN) in the examination and treatment of patients to facilitate clinic flow and provide excellent patient care.
• Performs basic skills per department guidelines and policies; communicate observations to members of the health care team.
• Rooming patients, collecting vitals, and assisting in minor office procedures.
• EPIC In basket work.
• Processing FMLA and short-term Disability work.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or equivalent
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required within 90 Days
