Ambulance Driver - PRN

About the role

The Haxtun Health Ambulance department does not offer regularly scheduled work shifts. Weekday coverage is provided by the first available responders. Weekends are covered by two on-call responders. On-call shifts are usually from 6:00am on Saturday through 6:00 am on Monday mornings. On-call responders receive hourly on-call pay. Commission is based on a per-trip basis, according to a predetermined rate table.

Responsibilities

• Responds to calls for Inter-facility transfers to provide efficient and immediate care to the critically ill and injured, and to transport the patient to a medical facility under the guidelines outlined in the Haxtun Ambulance EMS Protocols.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess and maintain CPR certification for healthcare, training available.
• Possess and maintain a valid Colorado Driver’s License.
• Possess or obtain ICS 100 & 700 for NIMS compliances.
