About the role

The Infusion Center Manager at UCI Health is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, ensuring high-quality nursing care, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. They also serve as a mentor and resource to staff members.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily delivery of patient care
• Supervise and direct nursing staff
• Facilitate responses to physician requests and services
• Review data and devise control mechanisms for safe patient care
• Maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System

Requirements

• Understanding of Joint Commission and other applicable regulatory requirements
• Strong customer service orientation and excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Previous experience working with cancer programs
• Basic Life Support Education

Qualifications

• Complete understanding of acuity levels for the patient population
• Ability to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System

Skills

Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
