Pay

$55.20–$75.03/hour

Schedule

Primarily day shifts between 7:30 am and 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Rotating shifts to equal 40 hours per week. Hours and location are subject to change; weekend and holiday rotations may be required.

About the role

This position assists in managing the pharmaceutical care workload; compounds and dispenses medications and pharmaceutical supplies upon receiving written orders from physicians; and reviews and interprets prescriptions and drug profiles to ensure appropriate drug therapy has been prescribed and drug interactions are monitored.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (or equivalent)
• Licensed Pharmacist

Physical Requirements

• Intermittently sit at a computer workstation and perform tasks with repetitive motions (e.g., typing)
• Stand or walk with objects weighing up to 10 pounds
• Lift, push, and/or pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds
• Occasionally stand or walk with objects weighing up to 25 pounds
• Risk of back injury from moving, lifting, or positioning patients, equipment, or materials
• Risk of injuries from use of equipment on the job
• Exposure to blood-borne or airborne pathogens, hazardous chemicals and fumes (including waste), cuts/punctures, burns, and combative/violent people
