Pay
$50.34/hr - $64.08/hr
Schedule
- Primarily covering shifts as needed, including weekend shifts at any of the retail pharmacy locations
- Must be available to work during operating hours (days and hours subject to change based on location)
- May be required to work on some holidays (currently rotated among Ambulatory Pharmacy Services staff)
- Weekend shifts are expected
- Overnight coverage may be needed at the 24-hour location to cover vacations and absences
- Shifts may be at off-campus locations in Lexington and Richmond, KY (transportation required)
Job Summary
Provide patient care in a fast-paced pharmacy setting. Compounds and dispenses medications and pharmaceutical supplies upon receiving written orders from physicians. Reviews and interprets prescriptions and drug profiles to ensure appropriate drug therapy has been prescribed and ensures that drug interactions are considered. Manage inventory and technician staff to provide excellent customer service. Must be available to work in any of the Ambulatory Retail Pharmacies if needed.

Requirements
- BS in Pharmacy or PharmD
- Licensed or eligible for license as a Pharmacist in Kentucky (must be licensed on day one of employment and maintained throughout tenure)
- 0 years of required related experience
Physical Requirements
- May include standing for greater than 5 hours at a time
- Ability to reach items above shoulder level
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds

Preferred Qualifications
