About the Role
As a Warehouse Associate at a delivery station, you'll support the final step of order fulfillment by preparing packages for delivery. Your tasks include receiving inventory, using technology to sort and scan orders, building and transporting pallets, and handling deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Receive and prepare inventory for shipment
- Utilize smartphones and handheld devices for sorting and scanning
- Build, wrap, sort, and move pallets and packages
- Receive truck deliveries and manage deliveries
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
- Use carts, dollies, and other equipment to move items
- Climb stairs and work at heights up to 40 feet where applicable
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older and able to understand safety guidelines in English
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with moving machinery and noise
- Willingness to work in varying temperatures and wear safety gear
Work Environment
The role involves working around machinery and in a climate-controlled warehouse, with safety protocols in place.
