About the role

Join a sustainable eco-tourism project in the Amazon jungle to educate tourists and locals about conservation while gaining hands-on survival experience. This volunteer opportunity allows you to help protect one of the last great wildernesses by demonstrating its value through education and eco-tourism.

Responsibilities

• Educate tourists and locals about the importance of sustaining the Amazon jungle.
• Teach English to local guides.
• Learn Portuguese and basic Amazon jungle survival skills.
• Assist as a guide on overnight jungle survival trips.
• Sleep overnight in hammocks in the jungle.
• Participate in wildlife observation and interact with monkeys at a rescue and rehabilitation center.

• Train with local military survival experts.
• Teach English to staff and guides.
