Amazon Connect Architect

About the role

We are looking for a AWS Software Development Engineer (SDE) to build and support integration between AWS, Salesforce, and other enterprise applications. The role will focus primarily on AWS-based development, including designing serverless services and integration of APIs. You will work closely with stakeholders to implement secure connectivity, data exchange, and event-driven workflows. Exposure to Salesforce integration patterns, including authentication and authorization mechanisms, is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Apply Salesforce integration patterns, including authentication and authorization mechanisms.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands‑on enterprise Amazon Connect experience (design, configuration, contact flows, routing, CCP, admin/supervisor features).
• At least 3 years of enterprise experience with AWS services in production (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, Kinesis, EventBridge).
• Hands‑on experience with Bedrock Agents and Bedrock AgentCore.
• At least 2 years of enterprise experience with Telephony/VoIP (SIP trunking, PSTN routing).
• At least 2 years with contact center/WebRTC technologies.
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript/Node.js and/or Python for Lambda and integration development.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, and secure authentication patterns.
• Solid understanding of contact center KPIs and CX best practices (SLA, AHT, ASA, occupancy, service level) and how to design solutions that improve them.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform) and CI/CD tooling.
• Mandatory: Telecom Unified Communications SIP.
