Join Amazon Air as a Senior Financial Analyst and shape the destiny of our global cargo airline through innovative financial modeling. In this dynamic FP&A role, you'll develop the financial framework that guides our multi-billion dollar air cargo operations, from aircraft networking to hub logistics. You'll construct comprehensive models bridging multiple channels, optimize our P&L, and create insightful reports that fuel data-driven decisions. We're seeking a high-flyer who excels at complex financial modeling, metric standardization, and translating intricate airline economics into actionable insights. Your work will directly impact the growth and efficiency of our expanding air network.
Key job responsibilities
- Drive the core financial modeling for the organization including P&L development and Financial Bridging
- Partner with senior business leaders and develop operational metrics and goal setting to help the team improve performance
- Identify opportunities to improve, automate, standardize, or simplify finance or business tools and processes
- Partner and influence the BIE and Finance teams
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- 4+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience
- 3+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience
- 3+ years of contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience
- 3+ years of finance, tax or a related analytical field experience
- Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of Tableau
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
Pay
USA, WA, Bellevue - 82,700.00 - 117,100.00 USD annually. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
