Amazing Athletes- Karate Instructor for Young Kids

The Position

We are seeking coaches for our new Karate Zoo enrichment program. Amazing Athletes was founded in 2003 and has grown into one of the nation's largest multi-sport enrichment programs with over 50,000 kids enrolled each year. Our newest program, Karate Zoo, is leading the way in preschool martial arts. New Coaches can work *3-6 classes a week, earn 18$ per hr, and can earn up to 40$ per hr (based on experience and growth in company).

• Our Coaches use individual attention to ensure every child has success.
• Our Coaches use a non-competitive approach to ensure classes are fun and we create a stress-free environment.
• Our Coaches use positive reinforcement to encourage children to do better and celebrate success.
• And finally, our coaches have a blast. They are open-minded and know that coaching Karate is a continuous journey. All Coaches are open to feedback and strive to be better by following the Karate Zoo Coaching Manual & Curriculum

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience working with children (professional or volunteer) is preferred, particularly in a coaching or teaching capacity.
• A love for sports and martial arts, with a desire to inspire young kids.
• Availability to work flexible hours, primarily afternoons (3-5pm).
• Reliable transportation to travel to various locations.
• Ability to engage and connect with children in a positive way.
• Clean background check is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
