AM Server
About the role
Lodgco Hospitality is seeking a friendly and energetic AM Breakfast Server to join our team at the full-service restaurant at Holiday Inn & Suites Orlando I-Drive (Theme Parks).
Responsibilities
- Greets and seats guests as quickly as possible, presenting them with menus and answering questions regarding meal preparation.
- Makes meal and drink suggestions as needed, using suggestive selling techniques.
- Takes orders, presents checks to the cook and bartender, and records all sales using appropriate cash registers.
- Balances all checks and completes closing paperwork at the end of the shift.
- Serves orders promptly and professionally, ensuring proper garnishing and checking food quality.
- Continuously checks on guest needs, busses tables, and pours beverages.
- Responds proactively to guest concerns and performs side work such as polishing silverware, stocking condiments, and cleaning.
- Reports all tips received daily and assists with room service duties as necessary.
- Attends meetings and training as required by management.

- Strong customer service skills, including written and oral communication.
- Extensive knowledge of food and beverage etiquette and service standards.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
- Detail-oriented in reviewing final drink and food products.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work in a team setting.
- Energetic and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Initiative in anticipating guest or operational needs.
- Flexible to work varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours.
- Wears proper uniform in accordance with Lodgco Hospitality policies and procedures.
- Performs additional duties as requested by supervisor.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent experience required.
- 6 months or more of experience working in a server role.
- Applicable state certifications as required.

- Satisfactory criminal background screening required.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Physical Demands
- Regularly communicates verbally, listens, stands for long periods of time, walks, kneels, stoops, bends, and lifts up to 50 pounds.
Expected Hours of Work
This position requires variable hours based on the needs of the hotel, including weekends.
