The location of interest is Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado Santa Fe, a high-desert retreat in the Land of Enchantment. The resort offers a serene environment with stunning views and amenities such as hiking trails, a spa, and a fine dining restaurant named Terra.
Responsibilities
- Deliver knowledgeable, engaging service with a full understanding of all food and beverage offerings, confidently sharing ingredient details and providing articulate, enticing menu descriptions.
- Support the Terra team by completing side work, greeting and seating guests when the host/ess is unavailable, taking reservations, and operating the MICROS point-of-sale system.
- Maintain full awareness and presence on the floor, anticipating guest needs and responding promptly and appropriately to any concerns or requests.
- Accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card payments; and properly handle voids, corrections, and complimentary items in accordance with Four Seasons policies.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a high-end restaurant server/restaurant service or related work.
- Strong F&B knowledge.
- Flexible schedule- availability to work weekends and holidays.
- Current New Mexico Food Handler and Alcohol Server certifications.
- Ability to stand and move around the restaurant area for the entire shift.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30lbs.
