AM Quantitative Analyst I

About the role

This position involves conducting research to mitigate portfolio exposure to various risk factors within a multi-asset investment context. The role focuses on developing quantitative tools and implementing financial models to drive asset allocation and security selection. The candidate will collaborate closely with investment and technology professionals to enhance the investment process.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research on strategic design and active allocation from initial concept through full implementation.
• Build and automate tools to monitor portfolios for compliance with mandates and risk boundaries.
• Develop Python code to implement financial models for global market asset allocation.
• Create web-based tools and dashboards using Python and Dash to visualize fund performance.
• Perform attribution and risk analysis on managed fund performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Financial Engineering, or a closely related field, or a Master’s degree in a similar field with no experience.
• Three years of experience as an AM Quantitative Analyst I or in a closely related field performing quantitative analysis.
• Strong background in quantitative analysis and programming, particularly in Python.

Pay

$145,000 - $175,000 per year
