Alzheimer's Association Volunteer - Monterey County
Volunteer Opportunities
Community Educator: Deliver the Association's various education programs to different organizations in the community. Training and materials are provided for each program and staff will schedule the programs based on the volunteer's availability.
Community Representative: Represent the Association at outreach and health fairs in the community. Volunteers staff a resource table, hand out brochures and flyers, and answer questions about the Alzheimer's Association.
Support Group Facilitator: Co-facilitate a monthly support group for caregivers of people living with Alzheimer's or another dementia. Help facilitate conversation for the members of the group and provide resources as needed.
Walk to End Alzheimer's Committee Member: Be a part of a volunteer-led planning committee for the Walk to help organize event logistics, community engagement, fundraising, sponsorships, and more.
