Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized coaching and case management by developing education and employment plans, connecting graduates to resources, and supporting their transition into college or the workforce.
  • Promote long-term student success by assisting with FAFSA completion, scholarship opportunities, tuition programs, academic support resources, and intervention strategies to help participants reach their goals.
  • Build partnerships and career opportunities by developing relationships with employers, internship and apprenticeship providers, organizing alumni engagement activities, and helping participants prepare for employment through resume assistance, job leads, and interview coaching.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and relevant experience in higher education, career coaching, college access programs, youth development, workforce development, or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Experience providing coaching, case management, advising, or mentoring to students or young adults.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to motivate, inspire, and empower participants to achieve their education and career goals.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and internet research.
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel throughout Wisconsin.

Benefits

  • Competitive starting wage: $25.56/hour.
  • 13 paid holidays, including Juneteenth & Indigenous Peoples' Day.
  • Generous paid time off beginning at four weeks annually.
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including:
    • HMO & Dental.
    • 100% company-paid Vision, Life, and Disability Insurance.
