Aluminum TIG Welder

About the role

We're hiring an Aluminum TIG Welder for a manufacturing company in the Cookeville, TN area. This position is ideal for an experienced welder who takes pride in precision craftsmanship and producing high‑quality aluminum welds. The role offers a stable day‑shift schedule, competitive pay, and three‑day weekends each week.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on aluminum components with a strong focus on quality and appearance.
• Weld, fit, and assemble parts according to blueprints and specifications.
• Complete tack welding and final welds on aluminum products.
• Inspect finished welds to ensure they meet quality standards and customer requirements.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and work instructions.
• Use hand tools, measuring devices, and welding equipment safely and effectively.
• Assist with light metal preparation and finishing as needed.

Requirements

• Previous aluminum TIG welding experience.
• Ability to produce clean, consistent, high‑quality welds.
• Experience reading blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workmanship.
• Experience using hand tools and measuring equipment.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and stand throughout the shift.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.

Pay

$23.00‑$25.00 per hour, based on experience.

Schedule

Day shift: four 10‑hour shifts per week, providing a three‑day weekend.
