Aluminum Boat Builder
Munson Boats manufactures world-class, purpose-engineered fire/rescue boats, research boats, and custom workboats with a reputation for quality craftsmanship and robust design. This role is based at our facility in Burlington, WA (98233).
About the role
As an Aluminum Boat Builder, you will handle all aspects of constructing custom aluminum vessels, from reviewing blueprints and specifications to assembly, layout, fitting, and welding. You’ll work within a small team of 3–4 personnel to complete projects from start to finish under the direction of a lead supervisor. All design work and boat kit cutting are performed in-house using years of geometry and standardization practices. The work environment is clean and organized.
Responsibilities
- Review blueprints and specifications
- Perform layout, fitting, and assembly of aluminum boat components
- Weld aluminum structures according to project requirements
- Work collaboratively in a small team to complete projects from start to finish

Schedule
- Day shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Swing shift: 4:30 PM – 2:00 AM
Pay
Pay ranges from $24 to $36 per hour, depending on experience.
