About the role

The Alternative Delivery Manager, Shore Approaches, plays a critical role in the development of international alternative/collaborative delivery projects. This position involves providing direction and management throughout the entire project lifecycle, from business development to active contract and design management.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direction and management for all phases of alternative/collaborative delivery projects.
  • Involvement in business development, teaming, pursuits & proposals, and active contract and design management.
  • Focus on international work and Shore Approaches projects.
  • Ensure goal orientation, organization, professionalism, and meeting client expectations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, multitasking abilities, and decision-making skills.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of construction management experience, or 5 years of experience in trenchless design/construction, including marine and trenchless experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in Trenchless Design or Construction.
  • Experience in key project leadership roles, including design build pursuits and project delivery.
  • Understanding of alternative delivery projects, such as design build, EPCTravel requirements may vary but could exceed 50%.

Qualifications

  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Experience in technical writing.
  • Understanding of scheduling, estimating, and project controls software.
  • A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Skills

  • Goal-oriented and organized.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage both internal and external client and partner teams.
  • Proactive in building and sustaining relationships with clients and general/subcontractors.
  • Proactive in communicating with clients and team members.
  • Leadership and project management skills, especially in design build pursuits and project delivery.
