Alternative Credit, Investment Professional

Responsibilities

• Work on multiple transactions simultaneously across all stages of the investment process, including structuring, investment committee, and ongoing relationship and asset management
• Develop financial models
• Conduct due diligence
• Participate in legal documentation process, including the preparation of term sheets and the negotiation of key terms
• Manage overall transaction process in partnership with senior investment professionals
• Mentor and train junior members of the team
• Contribute to the team’s strategic planning and capability building

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a buyside investment role or relevant banking team
• 2+ years of experience in asset-backed or financial institution credit investing or advisory
• Strong quantitative skills, including proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
• Experience with and interest in working on a high functioning team
• Relationship building

Pay

The base annual salary range for this New York City-based position will be $125,000 to $175,000. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role.
