We're seeking a skilled Dressmaker to join Rosa Clará in Chicago. Ideal candidates are passionate about creating beautiful bridal gowns and have a strong background in the bridal industry.

Responsibilities

• Nailing Alterations: Ensuring each dress fits perfectly according to Rosa Clará's standards and deadlines.
• Helping Out in Fittings: Collaborating with Sales Advisors to ensure all dresses are flawless and client-ready.
• Working with Workshop Manager or Store Director: Organizing and prioritizing alterations efficiently.
• Finishing Touches: Pressing and steaming dresses to perfection for delivery.
• Ready for the Spotlight: Preparing dresses meticulously for their debut.

Requirements

• Experience with sewing machines such as flatbeds, overlockers, and sergers.
• Eye for detail, capable of fixing, replacing, or adding buttons, zippers, and other trims with care.
• Formal training in fashion design, tailoring, or pattern making.
• Bridal and evening wear experience is a plus.
• A quality lover who values precision, responsibility, and producing top-quality work.
