About the role

Rosa Clará, renowned for its elegance and craftsmanship in bridal fashion, is seeking a skilled Dressmaker with a deep passion for haute couture to join our team at our Boston atelier.

Responsibilities

• Perform expert dress alterations with meticulous attention to detail, meeting Rosa Clará’s high-quality standards and deadlines.
• Work alongside Sales Advisors in fitting rooms to review dresses from headquarters, ensuring flawless readiness for clients.
• Collaborate with the workshop manager or store director to manage and prioritize alterations efficiently.
• Conduct pressing and steaming to bring each dress to perfect condition before delivery.
• Prepare every gown meticulously for delivery, upholding the brand’s reputation for excellence.

Requirements

• Extensive experience sewing and operating various machinery and tools, including flatbed sewing machines, overlockers, and sergers.
• Ability to alter, replace, or add trimmings such as buttons, zippers, boning, and more with precision.
• Formal training in fashion design, tailoring, or pattern making.
• Previous experience with bridal gowns or evening dresses is strongly preferred.
• Strong sense of responsibility, detail orientation, and commitment to producing top-quality work.
