About the role

The Alterations Customer Service Representative (CSR) plays a crucial part in the Alterations department, contributing to a superior customer service experience. This role requires a mix of customer interaction, inventory management, and physical labor.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with enthusiasm and provide clear, concise communication.
• Manage customer flow using all necessary systems to ensure a five-star customer experience.
• Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues as necessary.
• Promote alterations services and personalization options.
• Maintain a clean and organized alterations room.
• Perform duties as assigned by store management.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• One to two years of prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment.
• Prior sewing experience is helpful.
• Experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system is beneficial.

Qualifications

While not mandatory, prior experience in a similar role can be advantageous. The ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
