About the role

The Alterations Customer Service Representative (CSR) plays a crucial part in the Alterations department, contributing to a superior customer service experience. This role involves managing customer flow, addressing concerns, promoting alterations services, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with enthusiasm over various channels
• Communicate clearly and solve problems effectively
• Manage customer expectations and ensure service vows are met
• Address customer concerns and escalate appropriately
• Promote alterations services and personalize experiences
• Maintain high standards in dress code and physical space
• Greet and escort alterations customers to appointments
• Press, steam, and spot clean garments
• Ensure garments are in pristine condition before delivery
• Build long-term relationships to enhance customer satisfaction
• Support inventory management and cash wrap processes
• Seek assistance for unresolved customer issues
• Perform assigned duties and tasks as directed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years prior retail experience in apparel or specialty stores
• Prior sewing experience is helpful
• Experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system
