About the role
The Alterations Customer Service Representative (CSR) plays a crucial part in the Alterations department, contributing to a superior customer service experience. This role requires a mix of customer interaction, inventory management, and physical labor.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers with enthusiasm and clear communication
- Manage customer flow to ensure a smooth shopping experience
- Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues as necessary
- Promote alterations services and personalization options
- Maintain a clean and organized alterations room
- Perform duties as assigned by store management
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
- Prior sewing experience is helpful
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with a POS (Point of Sale) system
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds
