About the role

The Alterations Customer Service Representative (CSR) plays a crucial part in the Alterations department, contributing to a superior customer service experience. This role requires a mix of customer interaction, inventory management, and physical labor.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers with enthusiasm and clear communication
  • Manage customer flow to ensure a smooth shopping experience
  • Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues as necessary
  • Promote alterations services and personalization options
  • Maintain a clean and organized alterations room
  • Perform duties as assigned by store management

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
  • Prior sewing experience is helpful
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with a POS (Point of Sale) system

Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds
