About the role
The Alterations Customer Service Representative (CSR) plays a crucial part in the Alterations department, contributing to a superior customer service experience. This role requires a combination of customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and service customers over the phone, virtual chats, and in person, using clear communication and problem-solving skills.
- Manage customer flow to ensure a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience.
- Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues as necessary, working closely with leadership.
- Promote alterations services and personalize offerings to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized alterations area to ensure a positive shopping environment.
- Perform duties as assigned by the Store Manager, including inventory management and cash wrap activities.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- One to two years of prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store setting.
- Basic computer skills, particularly with a Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and perform manual tasks like pressing and steaming garments.
