The Alterations Customer Service Representative (CSR) plays a crucial part in the Alterations department, contributing to a superior customer service experience. This role requires a mix of customer interaction, inventory management, and physical labor.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers with genuine enthusiasm, using clear communication and problem-solving skills.
- Manage customer flow through various channels, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues as necessary.
- Promote alterations services and personalization options to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean and organized alterations room, adhering to high standards.
- Perform duties as assigned by store management, including inventory processing and cash wrap activities.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment.
- Prior sewing experience is helpful.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with a POS (Point of Sale) system.
