About the role

The Alterations Customer Service Representative (CSR) plays a crucial part in the Alterations department, contributing to a superior customer service experience. This role requires a mix of customer interaction, inventory management, and physical labor.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers with genuine enthusiasm, using clear communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Manage customer flow through various channels, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Promote alterations services and personalization options to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean and organized alterations room, adhering to high standards.
  • Perform duties as assigned by store management, including inventory processing and cash wrap activities.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment.
  • Prior sewing experience is helpful.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with a POS (Point of Sale) system.
