About the role
The Alterations Customer Service Representative (CSR) plays a crucial part in the Alterations department, contributing to a superior customer service experience. This role requires a mix of customer interaction, inventory management, and physical tasks.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers with enthusiasm over various channels
- Manage customer flow to ensure a seamless experience
- Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues as necessary
- Promote alterations services and personalize customer experiences
- Maintain a clean and organized alterations room
- Perform other duties as assigned by store management
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
- Prior sewing experience is helpful
- Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds
- Physical stamina for standing, walking, and reaching
