About the role
The Alterations Customer Service Representative (CSR) plays a crucial part in the Alterations department's success. Reporting to the Store Manager, this role involves providing top-notch customer service, managing customer flow, and promoting alterations services.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers with enthusiasm and clear communication, addressing their needs and concerns.
- Manage customer appointments and ensure they are met with a positive experience.
- Press, steam, and spot clean garments to maintain high standards.
- Support inventory management by processing special orders and adhering to first-quality standards.
- Participate in cash wrap activities to ensure accurate transactions.
- Resolve customer issues and escalate complex problems to leadership.
- Maintain a clean and organized alterations area.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- One to two years of prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store setting.
- Prior sewing experience is beneficial.
- Experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) systems is preferred.
