About the role

The Alterations Customer Service Representative (CSR) plays a crucial part in the Alterations department's success. Reporting to the Store Manager, the CSR is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing customer flow, and promoting all alteration services.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers with enthusiasm over various channels.
  • Communicate clearly and solve problems effectively.
  • Manage customer expectations and ensure they receive a five-star experience.
  • Address customer concerns confidently and escalate appropriately.
  • Promote alterations and personalize services.
  • Maintain a clean and organized alterations area.
  • Perform duties as assigned by store management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years prior retail experience in apparel or specialty stores.
  • Prior sewing experience is helpful.
  • Computerized POS (Point of Sale) system experience is preferred.
