About the role
The Alterations Customer Service Representative (CSR) plays a crucial part in the Alterations department's success. Reporting to the Store Manager, the CSR is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing customer flow, and promoting all alteration services.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers with enthusiasm over various channels.
- Communicate clearly and solve problems effectively.
- Manage customer expectations and ensure they receive a five-star experience.
- Address customer concerns confidently and escalate appropriately.
- Promote alterations and personalize services.
- Maintain a clean and organized alterations area.
- Perform duties as assigned by store management.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years prior retail experience in apparel or specialty stores.
- Prior sewing experience is helpful.
- Computerized POS (Point of Sale) system experience is preferred.
